SCL PCB Solutions Group's Central European facility in Craiova, Romania has been recertified with zero non-conformities to ISO 9001:2015, the international standard for a quality management system.
The 25,000 square foot mid to high-volume PCB manufacturing plant opened in 2017 enabling SCL PCB Solutions Group to offer scaled & competitive manufacturing services to European customers as well as being closer to where multinational OEMs have their assembly plants. All the group’s locations operate in accordance with either ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified quality management systems, which help organisations consistently meet the needs of customers and other key stakeholders in both the delivery and continuous improvement of products and services. Customers can continue to rely on SCL PCB Solutions Group’s fully accredited supply chain for high-quality PCBs.
"Receiving the ISO 9001:2015 re-certification at our Romanian facility underlines our commitment to offering our customers the highest standards in both product and service," said Martin Randall, Group Operations Director. “It is to the credit of our Quality Manager, Nicoleta Vaduva, and the whole team at BATM that a start-up business received original certification to ISO 9001 with zero non-conformities and has now followed this up with a successful first re-certification again with zero non-conformities. In addition to providing products and solutions that adhere to the stringent quality requirements expected from our customers, the entire team takes great pride in helping our customers to optimise their operational efficiency to better serve their customers."
"We operate in an increasingly competitive environment with tighter regulatory demands across industries," said Steve Driver, CEO SCL PCB Solutions Group. "Customers want more than just a PCB supplier – they want a strategic partner to supply reliable products and superior service support that increase quality, lower operating costs and maximise their own resources. With ISO 9001:2015 and our other certifications such as ISO 14001 that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS) and AS9100 for aerospace, our customers can continue to rely on us as a long-term strategic partner for their PCB needs."
